Peggy Wilson — Chair of the Board/Chair of the Executive Committee

Mrs. Wilson is a product of 12 years of Catholic education. A graduate of Padua Academy in 1985, she is a strong believer in the importance of a Catholic foundation. She started her professional career working for WBOC-TV, later joining Preston Automotive Group, and is now the Executive VP. Mrs. Wilson oversees Human Resources, Payroll, Expense Control, Contract Negotiations, and Civic Involvement. Mrs. Wilson is also the President of DHW Holdings, where she oversees all properties and multi-million dollar construction projects. 

Mrs. Wilson is a member of the Saints Peter and Paul Parish. She and her husband Dave reside in Preston, Maryland. They have five children: Angie, David, Jr., Brittany, Marina, and Daria. Both Marina (Class of 2016) and Daria (2021) have attended SSPP School since Pre- K. Mrs. Wilson served as Chair of the SSPP Advisory Board June 2016- 2019.

Wayne Hockmeyer — Vice Chair of the Board/Co-Chair of the
Development and Fundraising Committee

Dr. Hockmeyer is a fellow parishioner of the Saints Peter and Paul Church. He grew up in Evansville, IN, having had the benefit of 12 years of Catholic education prior to attending Purdue University, where he received a Bachelor of Science. Later, he earned a PhD from the University of Florida. He and his late wife Mary were ardent supporters of education, believing it uplifts all people. 

Dr. Hockmeyer is a Vietnam veteran and a retired United States Army officer. He has had years of experience in medical research and the biotechnology industry. Following his military service, he founded MedImmune, Inc., which is a publicly traded biotechnology company. He served as its Chairman and CEO until it was acquired by AstraZeneca in 2007. 

Dr. Hockmeyer has served on many public companies and not-for-profit boards. He is currently Chair of the Board of Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital. He is privileged to have his son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren in our local community.


Teresa Snyder — Secretary of the Board/Chair of the Marketing and
Enrollment Committee

Teresa Snyder is a Class of 2012 alumnus of Saints Peter and Paul School, and was enrolled as a student from Pre-K through 12th grade. Her older brother, Dorian Mitchell, also graduated from Saints Peter and Paul in 2008. In 2016, Teresa graduated from Mount St. Mary's University with a bachelor's degree in Business, and is currently pursuing her Master in Business Administration at the University of Baltimore. Teresa currently serves on the Board for Delmarva Real Estate Management Group, LLC.

Teresa and her husband, Curtis, have a Vizsla dog, Temi, whom they love to bring along on adventures. Teresa currently lives in Baltimore while Curtis finishes law school, but frequently travels back to Easton, Maryland to help take care of her mother, Maria, who has Alzheimer's Disease.


Fr. James Nash — Ex-officio/Pastor

Fr. Nash was raised in Newark, Delaware and attended St. Marks High School. He then went to the University of Delaware and obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. After working for nearly five years in the accounting field, he entered St. Mary’s Seminary and University and was ordained to the priesthood in 1994. He was assigned to Saints Peter and Paul Parish in 2014. Fr. Nash established the Saints Peter and Paul Advisory Board about three years ago and is very excited that we have moved to a Board of Specified Jurisdiction. 

Fr. Nash is a staunch advocate of Catholic education. While he did not attend Catholic school in his elementary school years, he was a student at a Catholic high school. During that time, Fr. Nash recalls not only receiving a fine education of the mind but also a growth in his faith and love for God and church. Catholic education continues to offer that opportunity and he looks forward to an amazingly bright future for Saints Peter and Paul School.


Joe Diamond — Chair of the Finance Committee

Mr. Diamond holds a BA in Psychology, an MBA, and an MS in National Resource Strategy. He is a retired member of the Senior Executive Service. He was Director of the Small Business Program Department of the Air Force, and was also the Program Executive Officer for Air Force Weapons. He served 23 years in the Air Force. 

Mr. Diamond has been a volunteer sacristan for Saints Peter and Paul Church for the past 11 years, is an active member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, and is currently President of the Southeast Neighborhood Association in Easton. He has received the Meritorious Executive Presidential Rank Award and the Order of Merit Award from the Diocese of Wilmington.


Jim Farrell — Co-Chair of the Development and Fundraising
Committee


Mr. Farrell graduated from the University of Detroit with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He served in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1967. Mr. Farrell was elected Chairman of Illinois Tool Works, Inc. in May 1996. He was elected President and CEO in September 1995 and prior to that time he was executive vice president of the company. In May 2006, Mr. Farrell retired as Chairman and CEO. He has sat on the Boards of Directors of Abbott, 3M, UAL, Kraft, Quaker Oats, Sears, Morton International, and Allstate. Mr. Farrell also chaired the Federal
Reserve Bank of Chicago. 

Mr. Farrell is married to his wife Max. Together they have five children and 18 grandchildren. They have maintained a home on the Eastern Shore for 17 years.


Richard Favretto — Chair of the Governance and Nominating
Committee


Mr. Favretto, who grew up in New York City, is the product of 19 years of Catholic education, culminating in a law degree from The Catholic University of America. He has lived in the Washington, D.C. area since June 1970.

Mr. Favretto began his professional career as a lawyer in the U.S. Department of Justice, where he spent 15 years as a trial and supervising attorney responsible for civil and criminal antitrust prosecutions, ultimately serving as Deputy Assistant Attorney General and Acting Assistant Attorney General in charge of the Antitrust Division. Thereafter, he became a partner at Mayer Brown LLP, an international law firm representing business clients in antitrust and corporate litigation, mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. While a partner at Mayer Brown, Mr.
Favretto served on the firm's Management Committee and as Partner-in-Charge of its Washington office. He retired from the partnership in 2018 and currently serves as Senior Counsel at the firm.

Mr. Favretto and his wife, Fran, presently reside in Bethesda, Maryland, but since 2001 have spent increasing time year-round at their home on the Choptank River in Trappe, Maryland. They are blessed with five children and twelve grandchildren who enjoy gathering and sharing family experiences together on Maryland's Eastern Shore.


John Galdieri — Board Member

John is a resident of Grasonville, Maryland with his wife Tina and daughter Gracie (2025). John is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After serving 11 years, John left the military to pursue a career in aviation. In 2006, John founded Trident Aircraft, an Easton-based company. Over the past 13 years, Trident Aircraft has grown to a multi-state pilot training and jet charter company that owns, leases, and manages over 40 aircraft. John has been volunteering his time at Saints Peter and Paul Elementary School in capacities ranging from "Room Parent" to Circle Duty and Career Day.


Melissa Quirk — Chair of the Facilities Committee

Melissa Quirk is the President and CEO at Provident State Bank. She is a motivated executive with a proven track record of leading financial institutions through growth and expansion cycles while maintaining a sound institution. Her passion is to develop and lead top-performing teams to reach their full potential. She is a lifelong banker that loves what she does each day to help people achieve their financial goals. 

Melissa resides in Preston, Maryland with her husband, Darryl, and their Shih Tzu, “Charlie”.


Carol Ripken — Ex-Officio/Diocesan Representative

Carol Ripken benefited from 16 years of Catholic education and has been a Catholic school educator for more than 40 years. She holds a bachelor's degree in secondary education and a master's degree in educational administration. She currently serves as the Associate Superintendent for the Diocese of Wilmington. Prior to this role, Ms. Ripken served as a high school English and Social Studies teacher, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, Principal of three high schools in both urban and suburban areas, and the Associate Superintendent for the Archdiocese of Baltimore.

Ms. Ripken currently serves as a Board member for both the Maryland Catholic Conference and for the Center for Catholic Schools Excellence of Mount St. Mary's College in Emmitsburg, Maryland. She has led and served on both district and school accreditation teams as well as operational viability teams throughout the United States.


Anne Warpinski — Board Member


Anne Warpinski lives in Centreville, Maryland with her husband, Bill. They have four sons, all of which have attended Saints Peter and Paual from K-12: Will (2012), Ben (2014), Nick (2016), and Sam (2019). Anne is originally from the Chicago area and grew up in large Irish Catholic family.

While her children were attending Saints Peter and Paul, Anne served on PSA boards and committees, and volunteered where needed. 

She and her family are members of Our Mother of Sorrows/St. Peter's Parish in Centreville. Anne has volunteered as a Eucharistic Minister, Altar Society, Catechist, Finance Council, Collection counter, and various fundraising activities.
As a member of the Saints Peter and Paul School family for 20 years, she firmly believes in the school and its mission of Mind, Body, and Spirit. Anne is grateful to be a part of this board.
