Faith Formation

As a Catholic school, Saints Peter & Paul is called to be a faith-based community. We strive to strengthen that community by applying theological teachings to real-life situations, promoting service, and nurturing spirituality.

Under the direction of a full-time Campus Minister, we offer students of all denominations the opportunity for four years of retreat, prayer/liturgy experiences, and service to others. It is our mission to reinforce the importance of community between students, parents, faculty, and staff with three guiding principles in mind:

  • God is central in every aspect of building a faith community
  • All members of the school have essential roles in the process of building a faith community
  • Our Catholic worship engenders respect for all people and many faith traditions

Christian Formation Opportunities

We offer a variety of opportunities for our students to explore and re-affirm their faith.

Campus MinistryLITURGY & PRAYER
The celebration of the Holy Mass and daily prayer are a central focus of the Saints Peter & Paul faith community. Through liturgical planning, Choir/Music, Eucharistic Ministry, and Lectors, students are provided a broad avenue for involvement in the spiritual life of the school.

This is an integrated learning experience for our students and is a required part of their Theology semester courses. Students have access to a diverse array of service opportunities. Through these service projects, our students share their faith experiences with their classmates demonstrating how they can make an impact on the lived of others, one small act of kindness at a time.

All students are provided the opportunity for reflective spiritual growth through a four-year retreat program. Juniors and seniors are offered the opportunity for overnight retreat experiences while freshmen and sophomores attend day retreats.
